Flow & Stretch

Flow classes are the same as Vinyasa classes. Flow is a newer phrase to describe a traditional practice. In Flow classes, breath is linked with movement in a deliberate sequence that “flows” together. This kind of rhythm more easily allows modern-day practitioners to tap into a moving meditation. There is often a balance of stretching and strengthening postures.

Flow yoga followed by time to melt into Yin postures for the second half of class. Yin helps to release tension in your body, reduce stress, improve circulation, and improve range of motion in joints. Your will hold poses for three to five minutes. Advanced students may hold poses longer. Modifications are offered.

Gentle Flow classes offer you a mindful, slow flow of postures as you intentionally unite with your breath. This class will help release stiffness and tension, gain strength and balance in your body, and focus your mind. Modifications are offered to challenge your edge or slow it down.

Our restorative class, offers an opportunity for relaxation and calm in a variety of ways using props. This class is designed to release tension in your body, reduce stress, and increase mindfulness.

Discover deep relaxation in our Yoga Nidra class – a space for true rejuvenation. Let go of stress and immerse yourself in an hour of guided imagery while in savasana. Each session combines easy breathwork, body awareness, and simple guided imagery to unlock inner calm and experience self-discovery.

Stretch & Release combines the practice of Yin, with deep stretching of the joints and tissues that can help improve circulation, and range of motion in joints. Your will hold poses for three to five minutes. Ending with a releasing Restorative practice designed to release tension in your body, reduce stress, and increase mindfulness.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Barre is a low-impact but highly effective class that combines elements of ballet, Pilates, yoga, and strength training. It focuses on engaging specific muscles until they reach fatigue, targeting your muscles through tiny, controlled pulses, followed by stretching. We end in a long savasana to rest the body and the mind.

During a sound bath, you are “bathed” in the sound and vibrations of quartz crystal singing bowls, creating a deep and immersive meditative experience. The experience can be profound. Bring something to lie on (like a yoga mat), a blanket, and an eye pillow for the best experience.
